The Universal Human Rights Index is a research tool brought to you by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). The Index provides easy access to country-specific human rights information emanating from international human rights mechanisms in the United Nations system. It compiles conclusions and recommendations addressed by UN independent experts to specific countries in view of improving the human rights situation.

The user is able to search and access specific conclusion and recommendation through the following criteria: State, right(s), affected person(s), body making the recommendation, document symbol and/or keyword(s).
